Regional Collaborative
About Us
The NSF Eddie Bernice Johnson INCLUDES Aspire Alliance is a national effort aimed at: (1) deepening the preparation of all STEM faculty to be inclusive and effective in their undergraduate teaching, research mentoring, and advising, (2) diversifying the faculty through effective recruitment, hiring, and retention of STEM faculty via institutional transformation in practices, policies, and resources, and (3) fostering institutional cultures that recognize and value inclusivity and diversity broadly, and in the context of STEM faculty work specifically.
Around these goals, the Massachusetts Regional Collaborative (RC) is is building partnerships across institutions and coordinating the placement of underrepresented STEM graduate students into mentored teaching practicum experiences in Community College classrooms in Massachusetts.
